on this topic of the National Fitness...
I hear rumor that your friend, the governor of New Mexico, is contemplating a run for President....
In the long shot.....someone would have to fill the role of director for the Presidents Council of Physical Fitness.

i dunno...i think i kicked the Governor's butt too hard at Mt. Taylor and during backcountry ski workouts! if i see him at Mt. Taylor next month, i'll bring it up to him as i pass him again! ;-)

opening photo: one of my 1995 editions of the then-paper, JOURNAL OF WHOLISTIC FITNESS, featured a cover story of me interviewing then Governer Gary Johnson of New Mexico. it was a great interview! i will run this plus many, many more "BLASTS FROM THE PAST" when Direct Lines returns to a subscription format later this month...look for it! man, i can't BELIEVE i didn't shave my armpits for that shot!
