COACH ILG ANNOUNCES WHOLISTIC FITNESS TEAM
TO COMPETE AT MT. TAYLOR WINTER QUADRATHLON!
rebounding from his cycling fitness during a record-setting effort in October's FURNACE CREEK 508 Mile Team Race, coach will play the role of athlete/coach as he returns to the Sacred Slopes of Mt. Taylor (see last week's two part story; Ancient Peaks, Ancient Voices) this February along with two other teammates; WF Teacher Joseph Sheader from Colorado and Coach's old cycling teammate, Richard Verderame from New Mexico. meet the Team Members right here, this week at DIRECT LINES! A several time top ten soloist who helped bring popularity to the unique 75-kilometer, four sport event in the late eighties, Coach will be anchoring the two 'snow sports' - the nordic ski and snowshoe racing segments of the race. WF Teacher Sheader will do the Mountain Running portion, and Warrior Verderame, a multi NM State Road Racing Champion will hammer out the cycling portions. check out the race format at the Mt.
