Dear Coach,
What are the chances of getting some more race details from you? I enjoyed your DL hit, but it would be great to understand more of the details if/when you have a moment. Once again, outstanding Work. ;)

 Noble Student Michael -
sure, if enough DL readers really want to hear about nonstop pain and suffering. You know, us guys do not have the pain threshold ceilings which grace the abilities of most females. Guys tend to dramatize pain cuz we feel it at a different hormonal level than do women whose childbearing hormonal capacites allow them to be stoic (Ron Jones word), if not elegant, while enduring pain.

i am also holding off to see what the LA Times is going to do to Freelance Writer and teammate Roy Wallack's story of the event.

Dear Noble Coach,
I'm enjoying my WF Program so much, finding natural
rhythms and energetic harmonies--including letting my
body chill out and heal when it is time.

Particularly noteworthy is the yoga
series--delightful! These poses are RIGHT, for RIGHT
NOW. Tonight immediately after completing them, my
voice dropped, as I had shifted and immersed in a
refreshing tranquility.

Before signing off, I want to tell you how much I've
enjoyed DL. Coach Ilg's descriptions (congratulations
on this victory!!) and the photos are awe-inspiring.
You two are so beautiful.

Holding you in my heart,
Student Doreen, WA

Hi Steve:
Way to go at the Furnace Creek 500. You do walk the talk. As usual it inspires me to be better and more of a warrior.

Coach-
Thanks for sharing your Furnace Creek experience with us, it was great to be a part of it. Congratulations on the performance and the victory. Thanks also for the inspiration to go out and push my limits, or perceptions of limits.

On another note, it was great to see you get out to one of my most favorite places in the world, J Tree. I've spend many months out there in that beautiful desert park, clambering up rock faces adrift in a sea of J Trees. However, I'm not sure if you can call it "high-level" climbing when you're using oval 'biners, old Petzl draws, a non-padded (Chouinard?) gear sling, and (could it be?) slider nuts on your rack. ;)

That looks like Trash Can Rock, a favorite place of mine. Take care, Coach, hope to see you soon.
